WHAT MIGHT SHAPIRO THINK….

🎯 “This Isn’t About Weed—It’s About the Truth.”

I. Statement of Facts – Define the Terrain

Let’s be clear from the outset.

This is not a story about cannabis.
This is a story about contradiction.
About government-issued medicine…
…denied by the same government that shipped it.

For over forty years, the United States mailed marijuana to patients in metal tins labeled:

“Caution: New Drug – Limited by Federal Law.”

Meanwhile, the official position remained:

“Cannabis has no accepted medical use.”

They called for more research—while suppressing the data.
They claimed lack of evidence—while holding the evidence in federal archives.

That’s not oversight.
That’s orchestration.

II. The Legal Hypocrisy – Enter the Conflict

Let the record show:

The same federal agencies that classified cannabis as Schedule I—

“No accepted medical use, high potential for abuse”—
Were simultaneously greenlighting treatment protocols for:

  • Glaucoma

  • Multiple sclerosis

  • AIDS wasting

  • Chronic pain

That’s not consistency.
That’s contradiction under oath.

And when you apply a different set of rules to those with uniforms—veterans—it becomes more than contradiction.
It becomes contempt.

III. The Human Cost – Establish Harm

This isn’t theoretical.
This policy has casualties.

Veterans denied effective care.
Veterans misdiagnosed.
Veterans dead by suicide or overdose—while the VA clung to pharmaceutical protocols and ignored plant-based alternatives they knew existed.

The truth isn’t academic.
It’s autopsied.

IV. The Precedent – Ask the Real Question

If the government had a legal pathway to provide cannabis in 1976...
If they had a Master File at the FDA for approved therapeutic use...
If they issued federal IDs to IND patients for lawful possession...

Then here’s the question:

What changed—science or politics?

Because when science supports use, and politics blocks it...
That's not regulation.
That's retaliation.

V. The Remedy – Deliver the Charge

This is not about asking for special treatment.
It’s about equal protection under the law.

Veterans are not props.
They are patients.
And they are protected by the same constitutional guarantees as anyone else.

So we say this, clearly and concisely:

📍 Reinstate the medicine.
📍 Restore the program.
📍 Rescind the lie.

The war on cannabis was built on a false foundation.
And we have the receipts.
